This handmade ceramic vase explores form, surface, and restraint. Its form is rounded and carefully balanced, while the deep blue glaze is interrupted by natural drips formed in the firing process. Each mark is unplanned and unrepeatable. Designed not only as a vessel for flowers, but as an object that holds presence, weight, and stillness within a space.
While these pots are dishwasher safe, it is recommended to exercise caution and consider hand washing as the optimal method. The presence of sharper edges makes them more vulnerable to chipping if mishandled, so it’s important to handle them with care. As a personal preference, I always choose to hand wash my handmade pottery and refrain from using them in microwaves or oven. It’s worth emphasizing that these pots are not mass-produced factory ceramics; each piece is crafted individually, ensuring its uniqueness and distinctive character.
